Zirconia abutment with Celtra Duo crown

My last case depicted lots of compromises, this one was much easier.  The patient came in reporting that #7 had broken off at the gum line, and she super glued it back in... not too shabby.

#7 was atraumatically extracted and implant placed immediately.

A Zirconia abutment was milled and infiltrated with shade 2-m-2.

Final post op. with stained Celtra Duo crown.

Didn't mention that when I removed the crown, the root was fractured obliquely sub osseous.  Had a bit too much yellow chroma, but the patient was happy.  I really liked how the Celtra crown fit to the abutment.

Very nice! I'm using a lot of celtra lately too. I've also really liked how it fits to the milled abutments, albeit I'm only using emax. Did you do guided surgery?

Thanks Josh,

This surgery was done free hand, but planned in Galaxis.

Very nice Dan.  That is one use I can see that zirconia is perfect..

Nice job Dan!  Love the characterization on your "Fugly" crowns!

Dan, you and Kris can take care of the beautiful ones, I'll do the ugly teeth!  Is Fugly a specialty?

Fugly? I think I know what that means-- mission accomplished!

I think Fugly is a regional trait.  Mountain time zone in particular. I think we can go to Denver and get a fellowship in Fugly......

Nice case Dan. That's one for your Vegas presentation for sure.
