Photoshop needed?? ;)

Here is a young woman who wanted her "snaggle teeth" fixed before her wedding in a few months. This was a fun case to close the space and blend the color in to make it look natural. I did veneers to stay as conservative as possible. #10 was an emax B1 HT block seated with clear Variolink and #11 was an A1 HT block seated with light Variolink. We mixed grey and blue stain for translucency and used white for a halo effect on the incisal. She is really excited!

There has been a lot of discussion on HT vs MT vs LT. I thought for sure that I would switch to MT as being my predominant block but I still use a lot of HT. It really depends on the patients natural teeth if they are more translucent or more opaque.

*Ok Mike I'm ready for my Photoshop lesson for the day ;)

She really need to be excited !!! Excellent result! Thanks for sharing!

That looks very nice! Thanks for sharing. I like seeing these success stories :-)

Kristine,

WOW! Nice job. Thanks for sharing, I'm an LT person primarily, haven't had success with the MT block too bright. Anteriors I like empress and triluxe. I think it was you that turned me on to triluxe. All veneers so far, in triluxe.

Great job Kris.  Nice color match.

Great finish Kristine.

Re the photography - have you experimented with trying to increase your depth of field with a bigger fstop number  ... Allows us to see your work in context with the surrounding teeth.   Nice exposure etc though.

Fantasic outcome. Could you please share your prep screen shot?

Nice!

Here is the prep shot. I had to be a little more aggressive then I normally would to take out that rotation.

Couldn't ask for a better result!

Pretty good looking preps...must have been that young instructor back in dental school that taught you some skills with your hands :)

Looks great Kris!  Make sure you bring that to FLD tomorrow to share.  Beautiful work

Great result!
