CEREC Doctors

When your "CEREC Assistant" moves away...

Not too long ago my "CEREC assistant" moved to sunny California. I was happy for her on a personal level, but sad to see her go. She had worked with me for 8 years and she blossomed in her CEREC knowledge and training. Now I have had to refocus on training my other assistants and so I decided to make some easy flow charts for my lab to help out. If these can help anyone here than feel free to use them! PDF versions are printable.

I know how that is. Best of luck finding a new one and thanks for sharing!

Very nice flow chart. I am hiring a new assistant and this will be helpful to me. I would suggest three additions.

1. Reinforce the importance of not using any water to clean zirconia, or the drying cycle will be needed.
2. Add how to protect the mating surfaces of the tibase when sandblasting the bonding area, and how to apply the multilink to the metal and not the ceramic so when it is assembled the resin does not flow into the hole and block the screw access.
3. When using spray glaze I suggest holding the pin and spraying before putting the pin in the tray. That prevents a glaze buildup that makes the pins get stuck in the hole. Add a comment of which cycle is used with the large vs. small tray

Thanks for your effort and altruism.

Very special.

Great info Kristine, I am going to use those for my new assistants as well.

And how great to run into your assistant at her new CEREC office in So. Cal....she is very well trained by you and really helping her new doctor take her CEREC skills to the next level!

Pete

Peter- that is the best compliment I ever could have got! Thank
You!!

Kristine,

I am not only going to print out your flow sheets, I am going to laminate them.  Great job.

This is awesome!!  Do you make the documents in power point?  I'd like to copy these docs with a few changes pertaining to our office (materials choices, etc).

Thank you Kristine, for the time spent on these flow charts. They are amazing!

Thank you Kristine! This goes right to my assistants!! :)

Thanks Kristine,

You just made my membership in Cerecdoctors worthwhile.

You are wonderful colleague to share your information! My wife Lynne Thomas says hi. She shared your intellectual property earlier and i was totally impressed!

Juergen- I absolutely have loved getting to know your wife!! I’m sad she won’t be at DS World but she said you will be there instead and she promised that you are just as fun to hang out with ;) Looking forward to meeting you! I’ve heard great things!
