Anterior case

Anterior Celtra Duo Case shade LT C2, bonded with Calibra Ceram Resin Cement, milled in EF mode, designed in biogeneric individual but I always grab a pre-op "biocopy" catalog for reference during design.  I only imaged two catalogs in this case as I again utilize the biocopy overlay to asses my occlusion during design phase - areas I could have improved on would have been to make the teeth more square like original teeth but she was very happy with the outcome - enjoy your weekend everyone.

Nice case, as usual Andrew.   Quick question.  Do you find that the program has a tendency to round the distal line angles of most of the anterior cases.  .  I see it quit a bit on my cases and makes the teeth look a little more ovoid.   I need to learn a trick to fix that in biogeneric.  I mess with them with the grouping tool but have a hard time correcting it with the computer.  End up making adjustments after milling.

Yes Mike I would agree with your observation and now the more I look at this case the less I like it - I should have spent more time defining the distal line angles.  I'm not certain we can get everything we want in the design phase and sometimes those post-mill modifications are necessary as you know are taught in Scottsdale.

Just came across this discussion. Here is a vid of a technique that I use to sharpen up that distal contour line (eliminate the ovoid appearance), which allows for minimal adjustments after milled.

Definitely enough reduction.

Is the 4 directional tool available only with the inLab software?

No it is in chairside

It is an option in the shape toolbox when tool is activated Works for both shape anatomical and shape circular

Weston--thanks.  I found that video helpful.

That's a very useful tip! I will definitely be using that.  Thanks

+1

Great tip Weston

Great tip.  I have always struggled with distal line angles on the ant. teeth.  I tend to find the laterals are almost worse in their proposal.

Great case Andrew. And not a bad tip at all Weston. Should save some post-mill contouring time. Thank you.

Wonderful anterior case with Celtra Andrew! Thanks for the trick about using the 4 direction shape tool Weston.

Thanks Weston, I also found this tip helpful!  Great case Andrew.

Thank you to everyone for the support! I am still new to Cerec Docs but am glad to share some of the techniques I use to achieve my designs! Looking forward to sharing more with you guys. Should be posting another vid soon! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I think it's very aggressive preparation here
